Yes. You can take Computer Science as a single subject alongside another school, or as part of a full-time IGCSE programme with Inventum. Many families start with one subject and add more later.
Computer Science is assessed through 2 externally marked papers: Paper 1 - Computer Systems, Paper 2 - Algorithms, Programming and Logic. Full details are in the assessment section above.
Written exams are taken in person at a suitable registered exam centre. Your family is responsible for finding the centre, registering by its deadline, and paying its fees. Inventum offers a separate paid add-on to help find and communicate with a centre; the centre's own fee is not included.
IGCSE Computer Science is recognised internationally and supports progression to A-Levels, IB or other post-16 study.
